Analysis of Novel Porosity–Water-to-Binder Index for Prediction of Strength, Stiffness and Durability for Cemented Soils

The initial weight and volume relationships are crucial factors in determining the strength, stiffness, durability of cement-stabilized soils. porosity/binder ratio has been widely used as a control parameter for stabilized soil mixtures. However, this approach does not take into consideration water content during stabilization process, which can impact strength final product. To address issue, paper introduces porosity–water/binder relationship new to predict stiffness (Go), against wetting–drying cycles artificially cemented strengths, Go, accumulated losses mass (ALM) different soils were compared based on parameter, comprehensive results analyzed demonstrate its effectiveness. findings indicate that is suitable design soil–lime, soil–cement, geopolymerized Furthermore, it was determined no effect splitting tensile compressive ratio. study offer valuable insights optimization development improved processes.
